This ADA concrete project consisted of multiple accessible routes from the city walks, parking, and circulatory paths through and around the landscaping features, fountains, and ponds. The scope of work included upgrading portions of the accessible parking and accessible routes to the entrances of the buildings. Using our proprietary Design-Build process that includes 3D laser as-builts, and value engineering, we proposed a hybrid system for the project. Our approach consisted of removing and replacing portions of the concrete, grinding and filling minor non-compliant spots, then color matching the entire project so our patchwork quilt of repairs wouldn't be apparent, leaving all the walks looking brand new.
Our hybrid solution over the standard remove and replace option saved our clients over $210,000.
